Ontario is taking further action to stop the spread of COVID-19.
As of November 23rd, Toronto and Peel are moving into a modified lockdown for 28 days. K-12 schools remain open during this time, therefore UMC High School continues in-class instruction.
Please note that a number of businesses and services will be closed during this time:
- Malls, gyms, shops, hair salons and nail salons are closed.
- Restaurants are limited to takeout or delivery only.
- No indoor gatherings with anyone outside a person’s household. Individuals who live alone may have close contact with one other household.
- Outdoor gatherings are limited to 10 people.
We encourage all students and staff to follow the directives and limit all trips outside your home for essential reasons other than school, buying groceries, or medical appointments.
