Dear Parents, Partners & Students,

A New Chapter for UMC High School: Embracing Growth and Opportunity

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter for UMC High School as we transition to a more modern, strategically located campus. Starting with the September intake, we will be operating at the Yonge and Eglinton campus, a prime location in the heart of Toronto. This new campus will offer a variety of advantages, including enhanced amenities and improved accessibility for our students, families, and the local community. This transition provides us with the opportunity to eventually move to an ideal, purpose-built high school facility that aligns with our long-term vision. It’s a strategic move to address concerns about our current Scarborough location while offering more accessibility, better amenities, specialized academic programs.

Why This Move is Great for Our Students

Prime Location in Toronto: Our new Toronto campus offers unmatched convenience for North York families and residential students, now at a more accessible distance from our student residences. This move places them at the center of academic, professional, and cultural opportunities, with top universities, internships, and networking events nearby, and offers a shorter commute for many. This move sets UMC High School students up for success.
Modernized Facilities: Our new campus will feature updated facilities and a fresh, modern design that reflects the spirit and energy of UMC High School. The space will incorporate brighter, lighter colors and artistic elements inspired by our school’s branding.
Local Business Partnerships: We’re implementing a new initiative with local businesses to enrich our students’ experiences beyond the classroom. Stay tuned for exciting updates!
Student-Run Cafeteria: We’re introducing a student-run cafeteria to provide hands-on experience.
Exciting New Career-Focused Clubs & Electives: This September, we’re launching specialized clubs and new electives to help students build essential skills for future success. Stay tuned for more details!
Advanced Academic Support: Our new campus offers modern arts studios, a computer lab for coding, and expanded IELTS and tutoring programs available until 7:30 P.M., ensuring every student has the resources for academic success
