Today marks the last week of the Fall 2016 semester and the critical review day for all courses. Final exams will take place on the 20th, 21st, and 22nd. The detailed schedule can be found posted around the school and in the December school newsletter.

The Special Events Committee’s first session of cookie baking yesterday afternoon was a success. Students made sugar and chocolate chip cookies. There is still space to sign up for baking next Tuesday, December 6th. Interested students should sign up and pay $2 in the office bef
The Special Events Committee will host two cookie baking events on November 29th and December 6th. Each event is for 6-10 people. Any students can join. The cost of the event is $2, and students can keep the cookies they make. Students should sign up and submit their money to the offi
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament is being held this week from 4:30-6:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Students are welcome to gather in the gym to watch the competition. Thank you to Mr. Bond and Mr. Mathai for organising the tournament!

Hello, this is Min Kyung Park's mother. I had no doubts or worries when first deciding to send Min Kyung to UMC High School because of the many good things I heard about the school's reputation. Although I also heard some news about the principal's strict reinforcement of school policies, I was relieved to hear that Min Kyung was adjusting to school life in Canada quickly. I am thankful to the school, seeing how Min Kyung is starting to take more initiative in her school work and having a good time with her friends.
